Horse Expo Canada
April 26 - 28, 2024
I’m so excited to be chosen again to ride as a demo rider in the Working Equitation clinics at the Horse Expo in Red Deer this April! This year I’ll be riding with Working Equitation Canada founder and clinician Kim Jungman.
Each clinic is 90 minutes.
Friday – Working Equitation Dressage – Creating Understanding to Build Harmony:
In this clinic, Kim will introduce the riders to key exercises to identify challenge areas in both the rider and horse as well as review some of the more difficult components of their level tests and how to improve scores in the dressage phase of Working Equitation.
Saturday – Working Equitation Ease of Handling – Foundational Exercises with the Obstacles to Build Success
Using the obstacles, the riders will apply the training concepts and corrections identified on day 1 to improve their horse’s balance and riders accuracy and aids through the obstacles. This will help riders to build a strong foundation of a balanced partnership and aid in increasing execution scores of the obstacles.
Sunday – Working Equitation Building the Ease of Handling and Speed Course
Riders will now apply the skills and balance developed in the first 2 days to an ease of handling course and review strategies to ride the course to their best advantages. Kim will review speed strategies with the riders. Get ready to have some fun as we have the riders compete in a mini speed course competition with a prize being offered for the winner!
I’ll also be volunteering at the Working Equitation Canada booth. Come down to the Westerner Center and check us out! I’d love to meet you!
Virtual WE Fun Show
May 1 - 31, 2024
Set up the dressage ring and the obstacle course at your own facility, then video your rides and upload to YouTube! Bonus - a portion of the proceeds from every entry fee will be donated to support the 2024 Cross National Cup in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan.
This virtual show runs May 1-31, 2024, so you have lots of time to set up, practice, video & enter. Excellent opportunity to prepare for live shows, improve your skills & level up without the stress of a live show. WECan Scholastic Dressage Shows 1 & 2

In conjunction with the seminar for Licensed Officials, WECan is hosting two 1-day Scholastic Shows. These are to assist the education of our officials and also offer riders the opportunity to ride in front of a WAWE judge.

2024 Working Equitation Cross National Cup Canada
August 26 - September 1, 2024
The Working Equitation Cross National Camp and Cup is a week long camp with multiple clinics, lessons, seminars and social opportunities for riders from Canada, the USA, Australia, and Europe!
The Cross Nations Cup concludes with a 3 day Licensed Working Equitation Show judged by Doreen Atkinson- USAWE Senior ‘S’ Judge, Amy Star- WECan Medium “M” Level Judge and USAWE Registered “R” Judge, and Jill Barron- WECan Basic “B” Judge.
I’m excited to be a Presenter, Rider and Shadow Judge throughout this event!
